Maintenance is so hard!

And once again I’m battling my home scale to be able to weigh in for the month on maintenance. Why is this so difficult? I’m thinking of going back to paid to set my goal 10 lbs lower. Then raise my goal to my current goal and maintain the lower weight just for the cushion of pounds. Does that make sense? Could I do that? I don’t seem to have the will power to do it on my own.

To explain a little better: my current goal is 137. I’m 5’2” so this is the absolute most I can weigh to be in a normal bmi and for WW. That means I have to weigh less than 139 for my weigh ins. I always struggle with making that number so I’m actually maintaining a weight closer to 139, which is pretty much 140. I think 140 is too much; 130 should be doable. In fact I should probably be closer to 120. But if I go back to being a paying member with a goal of 127 (you have to lose 10lbs to make lifetime, right? ) I don’t want to have the same struggle just at an even lower weight. I want to then be able to raise my “goal weight” to 137 again so my weigh ins are easy. Does that make sense? I should just resolve to do it myself. Why is it so hard? Rhetorical
