7 Days of T-Tapp
I've been T-Tapping everyday for seven days! I'm very happy with myself. I haven't really shown any changes, though. My measurements have improved, but I don't feel that when I put my jeans on so I assume I'm just measuring differently.

A New Deal
I have ordered Theresa Tapp's T-Tapp workout dvds. I plan to do the 'boot camp' of a workout everyday for 14 days, then every other day for five weeks. Then every third day for five weeks, or however many it takes to get back into my size 5's. I hope to actually stick with this. We shall see...

Wedding Band
I am finally able to put my ring back on!!! It's been too long. I've felt so naked. And I forgot how beautiful it was!

July 11th, 2008
Well, the encouragement is working! I am done to 156.6. That's just 2 1/2 pounds heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight. I suppose I should put my ultimate goal to paper. I would really like to be 115 again, but I don't see that happening, so I am going to settle with 130. I just went through some boxes of my pre-original-pregnancy clothes from like four years ago and I almost wept! I love those clothes! They're cute! They're not overstretched, over-worn maternity clothes. Sigh! Soon and very soon!!!

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The Good: I have encouragement and I jumped rope for about 20 minutes this evening.
The Bad: I have eaten a crap load of homemade chocolate chip cookies the past two days.
The Ugly: My weight is 160.2.

Babyfit.com
I've begun using babyfit.com to track my intake. I think it will help me to evaluate what I actually put into my body. I have already realized how soda is just empty calories. Well, weight is about the same. 15 lbs until pre-pregnancy weight and another 20 or so to ideal. The journey continues...

June 9, 2008
I weighed in this morning at 162.5. This makes a total of 25.5 pounds in two and a half weeks. Already the weight loss has slowed. So now I need to get moving which I should be able to do now. I have so much incentive to lose the excess: 1. Finally get out of pregnancy clothes. 2. Open my wardrobe up to several boxes of my favorite clothes. 3. Wear my wedding ring again. 4. Fit into several pair of shoes I haven't worn in some time. Etc., etc., etc....

166.4!!! Man, only 16 more pounds and I'll be at my pre-pregnancy weight. At this rate that should be no problem, but I'm not counting on this continuing much longer. Although, my activity level is beginning to pick up.

Yippee! Down to 169! I believe that's 6 pounds in 5 days! I hope it continues. We'll see.

So, today just for good measure, I stepped on the scale and it said 172.5! Another 2.5 lbs! I guess those night sweats are getting my feet back to fitting into my shoes.

An Explanation
I am starting this blog as a secretly public incentive for me to keep on the path of healthfulness. If things continue in the same pattern, I have six months to lose my pregnancy weight before another. One week ago I weighed 188 pounds. This week I am down to 175 pounds. Not bad for one week, but I've got a long way to go! My ideal weight is 130. My reasons for losing the weight are for health, energy, and self esteem. Right now what I am doing to attain that goal is minimal: drink lots of water, breastfeed, avoid desserts, and eat healthy (I am using this generic term because meals right now are whatever is easy to cook, eat, and clean.) It's not much, but it's a start.
ETA: I didn't give the most important reason for my wish to be healthy (and therefore lose weight) and that is my children, whether they happen to be nursing, in the womb, needing me to chase them around all day, or needing me to be fully present for lessons.
